Scale with AI
AI at scale is about matching, not about automation.
The business case
A Million-Dollar Prize for Ten Percent — Netflix · United States · 2006–2009. In 2006 Netflix offered a prize of one million dollars to anyone who could improve the accuracy of its recommendation system by ten percent.
Why it matters
AI at scale is about matching, not about automation. Most founders think of AI as a way to do existing tasks faster. The larger opportunity is doing things that were previously impossible at your size. Netflix could not have employed enough people to personally advise every subscriber. The system made a previously impossible service economically viable. Ask what you would do for every single customer if effort were free — that question usually identifies where AI creates genuine advantage rather than marginal efficiency.
What you will be able to do afterwards
- AI strategy beyond individual productivity
- Personalising customer experience at scale
- Building AI-native operational workflows
